My Redang Holeeeeeday!

Imagine having a small chalet, tucked away in a corner, all to yourself.

Imagine waking up every morning to see a sky that changes colour every minute.

Imagine lazing around by the beach, with nothing to do but to admire what an amazing view you have in front of you.

Hahahahahah Amazing view! Wtf. Ok jokes aside. The amazing view I see every day in Redang is this:

Redang Island was really amazing.

I went to Redang with the boyfriend. Something like our graduation vacation =) Sat a 5 hours bus ride, waited for another few hours to get into the boat to go to Redang. And it was all worth it!

On the boat ride to Redang Pelangi Resort, we saw dolphins! I was so freaking excited ok! DOLPHINS! It was the best start to our holiday!

So for the next 4 days, all we did was wake up really early to watch the sunrise, laze around on the beach. Gosh the sand is so white and fine! The only exercise we got was when we were snorkeling (which isn't much of an exercise) and when we were walking around on the beach. Perfect holiday!

Anyway, I really wanna show you guys what an awesome place Redang is and then slip in a few camwhore shots of me. OK! Picture time!

Another thing I love about Redang is that I can eat as much ice cream as I want with the excuse that it is hot and wear my bikinis!

It was also in Redang that I watch my very first sunrise =) Seriously, being a girl who grew up in the west coast of Malaysia, I rarely get to watch the sun rise by the beach. Sunrise was beautiful!

The colour of the sky changes every 10 minutes. It was so magical!

There is practically nothing much to do there in Redang, which was perfect. You're either out snorkelling...

...or lazing around on the beach - sleeping, reading or taking photos (or let people take photos of you :P)

Then in the evening, you can walk around. I really enjoy watching the girls around getting people to take photos of them. And they really dressed up! They came out in dresses and beach hats, some had make-up on. Who knew, I too would have walked out to a beach in a dress (no hats and make-up though) :P

 Ok, I am seriously in love with my tan. I miss it sooo much! I don't like looking fair, pale and ghostly.

 LOOK AT PHOTO #25! This is not a swimming pool. It's the damn sea. In the so many seas I have been to, this is the clearest and bluest I have ever seen. And people tell me that there are much nicer seas in Malaysia. I must visit all of them!

On the last day, surprisingly, I was not reluctant to leave. Not because I did not have fun, but because I felt so energised and refreshed. I was so ready to go back to face reality.

After 3 years in university, exams after exams and finally finishing my thesis and final exams, the 4 days in Redang was a much needed break.

Before I left, I took more photos of this Island. So beautiful and it goes to show that Malaysia is a beautiful place.

After Redang, I had a new personal mission: To visit more islands in Malaysia =)

So, should you visit Redang? Definitely!

Though, I have to say this, if people don't start really taking care of this place, soon, Redang is going to lose its beauty.

When I was snorkelling there, you could see corals dying everywhere.

All I can say is, if you are going to Redang, do be responsible. After all, the beauty of mother nature is everyone's responsibility.

So, again with the question, should you visit Redang?
